After the huge success of the Nicky Romero-branded KICK synthesizer, the developer Sonic Academy introduces the follow up: KICK 2.

The first thing you will notice is that there are now three click-area's which you can use simultaneously. The area's are packed with highpass and lowpass filters, pitch control, length control and a start time knob. The plugin has a lot of native clicks, but of course you can use your own clicks too.

Another new feature is the harmonics control, whilst in the first version of KICK you could only use a sine wave. Harmonics can shape a thicker sound.

The old clip distortion from KICK v1 is included again, but Sonic Academy also introduced two new analog distortion types.

The new plugin also comes with an audio export function, graphical EQ, key snap function, compressor, limiter, and a portamento feature for trap basses.

For an overview of all functions, watch this video:

KICK 2 is available in 32/64 bit AU, VST and AAX format for the price of €52.95, $69.95 or Ā£59.95 excl. VAT. People who already bought KICK receive a discount of 50%.
